Over the span of 2 semesters, the Gather Round team worked to research and hone in on a topic : How might we bridge the gap that prevents parents from being engaged in their childrens education and development?
Role: Researcher, UX/UI, Branding, Presentation/Communication
Timeline: 8 Months
Tools: Figma, Figjam, Figma Slides, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro
This was a part of a partnership with Sheridan College and Red Thread Innovations.
Let’s start with a story that’s becoming far too common:
37% of children are arriving at school unable to write their names
47% of children cannot focus during lessons
64% of children lack skills to engage meaningfully with teachers or peers.
Why?
Because for many of them, learning hasn't even started at home
