Embarking on a journey through Hong Kong was an adventure that left a mark on me, and how I view the world. Navigating through the maze of the streets and subway lines, I discovered the heart of Hong Kong's rich culture. The mix of ancient temples against the backdrop of towering skyscrapers told the story of a city that honoured its past while moving towards the future. Visits to Tsz Shan Monastery opened my eyes to a world of peace, where locals practiced age-old traditions.

Venturing beyond the city's urban center, I went on a ferry that transported me through the islands surrounding Hong Kong. The iconic Star Ferry, with its views of the cityscape, ferried me across Victoria Harbor, creating a sense of connection between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.
